How it plays
- Score. Hit where they cannot reach. First to five points.
- One card. Tap a card that reaches the ball, then a gold ring to hit.
- Read them. Their hand is the four cards they did not just play.
The details
- Run and hit
- A card runs one free step, then the piece’s own move onto the ball, and hits along that same piece’s lines.
- Their strip
- Cycling back shows the four cards they just played. Hit where none of their other four reach.
- Serve
- From any square of your back row. Knights and kings cannot serve. Lose a point and you serve the next.
- The clock
- Eight seconds a shot, five online. Win by two; at 5-5 the next point wins.
